We plan to hold multiple outdoor ceremonies to safely celebrate with our graduates and their families.

  • Liberal Arts - Wednesday, May 19 at 10 am and 1 pm
  • Health Sciences - Thursday, May 20 at 10 am and 1 pm
  • STEM - Friday, May 21 at 10 am
  • Virtual ceremony on Facebook - Friday, May 21 at 7 pm

The virtual ceremony will be held online for available graduates who cannot attend in person.

Cap & Gown Pickup Hours

Cap and gowns must be picked up from the campus bookstore BEFORE Tuesday, May 18 during normal business hours .

Q: How much is my cap and gown?
A: There is no charge for a cap and gown, as long as you pick it up from the RCBC Bookstore.

Q: How do I order a cap and gown online?
A: Visit the Bookstore website, add the shipping fee to your cart, and check out online. Someone from the Bookstore will call you within 24-48 business hours to confirm sizing and other order information.

Q: Where do I pick my size for my cap and gown?
A:
You will be fitted for your gown when you pick it up from the Bookstore. If you are having your cap and gown mailed, you will get a call from the Bookstore staff 24-48 hours after you place your online order. The Bookstore staff will gather all necessary information during that call.

Q. Will there be an on-campus commencement rehearsal?
A. 
No, there will be no on-campus rehearsal, but please watch this video for important information you need to know for commencement.

Q. Where should guests and family park?
A.
Recommended parking lots for guests are Lots 1, 6, 9 and 10.

Q. How will seating for the ceremony be set up?
A.
Guest seating for all commencement ceremonies will be in the campus quad. Each gradate is allowed 4 guests and everyone over the age of 2 is required to have a ticket. Chairs will be set in pods of 4. Please note guests may not move chairs. Masks and social distancing is required for everyone at all times. Restrooms will be available in Laurel Hall and the Student Success Center.

Q. What happens if it rains or there is bad weather the date of commencement?
A. 
In the event of inclement weather, that day's ceremonies will be virtual and there will be no on-campus activities. Virtual ceremonies will not be rescheduled.
