What is SORA?  SORA (Security Officer Registration Act) is required training for anyone who wants to work in private security or private investigations, including retired police officers. While some can work under someone else's license, that will always pay less than having your own license. Having your own license will also open up many more job opportunities for you.

The license requires 24 hours of classroom instruction. In order to get everyone through the training it usually runs on three consecutive Saturday's from 8 am to 4 pm.  The training is held right here on RCBC's campus! You must make all three dates-no missing days, substitutions, or make-ups.

The course fee is $250, which covers all the course materials you will need, as well as the training and the certificate of completion.

The next course will be run on February 25, March 4 and March 11. There will be more dates added during the Spring and Summer-so check back often.
