Choosing the right class format is easy if you know yourself! Consider your learning style, your ideal class location and your family situation.

RCBC offers five course formats* to meet the needs of all students:

On-Campus (Self-Service code: Location)

Courses will be limited in capacity and will feature safety measures such as mask requirements, plastic dividers, social distancing and access to hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. There will be gaps between classes run in the same room to provide facilities time to sanitize them more frequently.

If you thrive on face-to-face interaction, feel uncomfortable using technology such as Blackboard Collaborate or Webex and do not live with someone who is immunocompromised, this is the option for you!

*In the event of another campus closure, On-Campus classes will switch to an Online Live format.

Online Live (AKA Virtual Live - Self-Service code: VLC)

If you’re comfortable with the format of online classes but sometimes need an extra nudge to get you to the finish line, this is the option for you!

Online Any Time (AKA Online - Self-Service code: DLC)

If you work full-time, have kids who require your attention at home or live with someone who is immunocompromised, this is the option for you!

Hybrid (Self-Service code: HYB)

If you learn well both online and in-person and don’t mind coming to campus once in a while, this is the option for you!

Hybrid Mixed Mode (Self-Service code: HMM)

These courses are designed for hands-on learning and to provide flexibility to allow the most interaction with faculty in a socially-distanced environment.

*In accordance with state guidelines and if on-campus classes are permitted to resume this fall, these are the course formats that will be offered.
