Program Testimonials

After researching programs, job opportunities and attending an information session, I chose a 2-month advance manufacturing program with Rowan College at Burlington County. It was an eye-opening experience. This experience helped me learn machining and connected me with a local employer, Edmond Optics.

After completing the Machinist program, I left Amazon in 2019, and started my new job in glass manufacturing at Edmund Optics. The job is very interesting.  I create glass for drones, Teslas, cameras and others. In September 2020, I will have my one year anniversary!

The completion of Rowan at Burlington County’s advanced manufacturing machinist course, provided me the skills to pave the way for several promotions with my employer, MultiHousing Depot. I started as a temporary employee and was promoted to assistant operations manager then promoted to executive advisor. The program provided the necessary skills I needed to excel in my job.
