Students sitting next to Barry

More than 500 new students and their family members attended Rowan College at Burlington County’s first Welcome Back BBQ as part of a collegewide initiative to help transition new students to college and increase their chances of success.

The turnout more than doubled the college’s original estimate.

“Celebrating the start of an academic year with so many new members of the Rowan College at Burlington County family is one of the best days of the year,” RCBC President Dr. Michael A. Cioce said. “It’s inspiring to see so many enthusiastic students ready to start the next chapter in their educational journey. Today’s barbeque sets the tone for the most enthusiastic and rewarding year in the college’s history.”
Miss the fun? There’s still time to join RCBC this fall.

Although fall classes started on August 31, there’s still time to enroll in the fall thanks to the college’s 10-week courses that run from late September through early December. These courses include both online and in-person and were designed to give students extra time to start the semester on their own time.
