We know you can’t do your best on an empty stomach. Nationwide research shows that 42% of community college students experience food insecurity. This correlates with reduced academic performance and lower rates of degree completion. We want you to make it to the finish line! That’s why we’ve opened the student food pantry, where you can access free food without questions.
Food Pantry Hours
Monday and Wednesday 9 am to 3 pm
Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 am to 3 pm
Friday 10 am to 3 pm

The RCBC Food Pantry is available to any student with a current semester sticker on their RCBC ID.
Visit Public Safety in the Student Success Center or Evans Hall with a copy of your current class schedule and a valid photo ID.
The pantry is located in Votta Hall and can be accessed from the external door. To access the food pantry, please use the building entrance that is closest to the bus stop, adjacent to parking lot 2. There is no access point from inside the building.
RCBC students can access additional support resources through the Student Support office. Our team can assist with accessing local, county and state programs, provide access to counseling resources and connect students with other supports. Please contact us directly for additional information.
MONETARY DONATIONS
Monetary donations allow us to purchase items that are in high demand or requested of our students. No amount is too small. A donation of $5 helps buy 28 pounds of food! Donations can be made online through this site by selecting "FOODPANTRY" from the drop down menu under "Donor's Designation."
ITEM DONATIONS
Out of respect for our students and to maintain the confidentiality of those who access the pantry, we request that item donations occur on a scheduled basis. To schedule a drop-off, please reach out to studentsupport@rcbc.edu.
Please keep in mind that we are unable to accept any donations that are:
- Expired
- Open
- Damaged
- Soiled
- Perishable, fresh, or prepared
