
School may soon be out for the summer, but Rowan College at Burlington County is always in session. RCBC offers several engaging and enriching programs to help you make the most of the summer months. College students can get ahead with summer classes, and middle school and high school students can explore their interests or prepare for the lifestyle of higher education with youth programs.
Summer courses
First session: May 16 (6 or 12 weeks), May 27 (10 weeks), June 24 (7 weeks)
Second session: July 7 (6 weeks)
Registration for summer classes at RCBC is open! Hundreds of summer classes are available under the 80+ degree programs and approximately 15 certificate program courses. Flexible, accelerated online, in-person, and hybrid classes allow you to speed up your path to an associate degree while still enjoying the summer sun. EMS Day
June 7
Learn more about EMTs and paramedics and their vital work at the RCBC’s Mount Laurel campus EMS community event! First responders from around Burlington County will be there to chat with students who are curious about the requirements to become first responders and what they do on the job. There will also be tours of the college’s EMS education site in the Health Sciences building, a simulation demonstration, and resources for learning purposes like hands-on CPR, car seat safety checks, and more. Get up close with emergency vehicles and watch helicopter fly-overs!

Pre-College Fashion Bootcamp
July 21-24, August 18-21
The Pre-College Fashion Bootcamp is a four-day program designed for high school students to immerse themselves in the fashion world. Get ready for a fun and instructional week at the Mount Holly campus as you soak up everything about fashion design from talented, experienced instructors. Students will engage in unique creative projects like mood and concept boards, sewing and upcycling, and sketching models, and get one step ahead as designers in the digital age through hands-on experimenting with digital design software.

College Basics (July 22-24) & Career Basics Bootcamp (July 30) Bootcamp
These two free events allow current and incoming high school students to explore career opportunities and grasp college basics. The Career Basics Bootcamp helps rising high school freshmen explore top career fields through fun hands-on workshops and engaging presentations. Participants will walk away with the skills and confidence they need to plan for their future!
The College Basics Bootcamp provides rising high school seniors with the skills and confidence they need to plan for college. Learn about the college admissions process, financial literacy, and more with interactive workshops and presentations. Meet new friends and future classmates, and have fun on campus! Hosted right on RCBC’s Mount Laurel campus, you can see if it’s a good place to put your new skills to use!

BRAVE Summer Institute
August 20 - 22
Hosted by the Brothers Achieving Excellence (BRAVE) program, the BRAVE Summer Institute is a college-readiness experience for first-year male students of color attending RCBC. This empowering three-day institute will help students adjust to college life, achieve academic success, and develop a deep understanding of being a male student of color in higher education through sessions with keynote speakers, campus tours, and hands-on experiences. Participating students will also earn incentives like a $500 check and RCBC swag for attending all three days.
