How to see an advisor
Students participating in RCBC’s Spring Ahead Program will see an advisor during their on campus visit with their high school.
All other students can attend a new student advising sessions to meet with an academic advisor. Sessions will begin in the middle of March.
If you cannot attend one of the new student advising sessions, please use our walk-in services. You can meet with an advisor virtually or in-person. Hours of operation are listed on the Student Services website.
How to prepare for your first advising meeting
- Make sure you apply to RCBC. If you have not attended in 3 years, you do need to re-apply using the new applicant application.
- Make sure you can access BaronOne.
- Take the math and English survey before attending an advising session listed under the New Student Pathway Card in BaronOne.
- If the math survey recommends the math placement test, take the ALEKS placement test before seeing advising.
- Make sure you have your high school and any other college transcripts on file at RCBC.
- Be ready with your payment options.
If you need help deciding on a career path, you can meet with a career advisor at RCBC, prior to your advising meeting.
