Students must complete the ALH 104 Patient Care (1 credit) course at Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) prior to transferring to Rowan University. This required course may be waived for students with current or previous work experience in clinical patient care experience 

Courses are taken on the Glassboro Campus. Students need to apply to Rowan University using the traditional transfer application in their last semester at RCBC. 

The BSRT program can only accept a maximum of 30 students each fall and admission is very competitive. Applying to the program and completing all of the admissions requirements does not guarantee admission to the program, Admission requirements: 

  • GPA Requirement: Minimum 2.5 overall GPA and Minimum 2.8 GPA in required science courses
  • HRST Requirement: Minimum composite score of 72 on the Health Sciences Reasoning Test (HSRT).
  • The application deadline to apply to the BS in Respiratory Therapy-Entry is March 1.
  • Students accepted into the program must successful complete a cleared criminal background check, drug screening, Immunization records, certification in Basic Life Support/CPR and compliance with technical standards
