Dr. Anita Rudman
Dr. Anita Rudman serves as the Associate Provost at Rowan College at Burlington County, bringing more than 40 years of distinguished experience in higher education across academics, student services, and institutional leadership. Her extensive background and commitment to student success shape the many roles she fulfills at the college.
While Dr. Rudman provides critical oversight of academic programs and faculty, one of her most significant contributions lies in her leadership of the Compliance, Assessment, and Research team. Under her guidance, the team manages institutional compliance and coordinates data requests and assessment. She works closely with the Faculty Excellence Coordinator and plays a key role in maintaining the college’s standing with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, where she proudly serves as the institution’s Accreditation Liaison Officer.
Dr. Rudman earned her doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Argosy University and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Penn State University. Over the course of her career, she has held leadership and academic positions at institutions across the country, including Colorado State University Pueblo, South University in Savannah, Georgia, and Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. Her moves among these institutions were influenced by her husband’s 27-year career in the United States Army. During his assignment in Germany, Dr. Rudman accompanied him and helped to support the many military families as they navigated the challenges of the First Gulf War, service for which she was honored with the eminent Department of the Army Commander’s Award for Public Service.
