The Summer Prep Program (Graduating 12th Graders)
July 6 - August 16 | 6-week course
- Earn free college credits to use at RCBC or transfer to another institution, a value of $1,255!

Please complete the Summer Prep Application form, which outlines the application process and important deadlines. Applications to the program will be holistically reviewed by our staff to identify students that are highly motivated to secure this academic head-start. Seats are limited.
- Applicants must be current high school seniors and Burlington County residents, on track to graduate high school in June 2026. Eligible students need assistance to strengthen their math foundation to thrive in college mathematics.
- The program is optimized for those pursuing humanities, nursing, and social sciences majors.
- Students are not required to attend RCBC in the future to participate in the program.
Participants would be enrolled in reserved sections of RCBC’s Introduction to Statistics and Introduction to Statistics Clinic this summer. Introduction to Statistics is a first course in basic statistical concepts (3 credits). Introduction to Statistics Clinic is designed to provide students the necessary skills to be successful in Introduction to Statistics.
- The course and clinic will run during the Summer II, 6-week mini term, July 6 through August 16. Please review the RCBC Academic Calendar for more information.
- Meeting Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, fully in-person, at RCBC’s Mount Laurel Campus. The course is scheduled from 9:30 - 11:50 am each day. The clinic is scheduled from 12 -1 pm each day.
- An embedded tutor will attend each class and provide tailored support to students, including 30-minute tutoring sessions after each class, from 1 - 1:30 pm.
- Each Wednesday after class, students will receive a free lunch and participate in a 1-hour workshop focused on college readiness, career planning, and more. Workshops are scheduled each Wednesday, 1:30 - 2:30 pm.
Participants must arrange their own transportation for the duration of the summer program. RCBC is unable to provide transportation support on an ongoing basis. If a student has extenuating circumstances, they may contact our Office Of Student Support.
Is it really free?
Yes! All students accepted into the program attend at no cost. Tuition and fees are covered. Textbooks are covered. All basic supplies, like a notebook and pencils, are covered. Free lunches are provided each Wednesday as part of the college readiness workshops.
When does the application close?
The application will close once all seats are filled. Seats are limited.
What credits will I earn?
Students that successfully complete the program will receive credit for MTH-107 Introduction to Statistics. These credits can be used at RCBC or transferred to another institution. Students will also receive institutional credit for MTH-007 Intro to Statistics Clinic, but these credits do not apply toward graduation or GPA calculations.
What academic support will be offered to me?
Participants will receive academic support through the Introduction to Statistics Clinic, an embedded tutor, and access to free 24/7 online tutoring services outside of class.
Is transportation provided?

Engineering Institute - (Rising 9th Graders)
July 30 | One-day Event 9 am - 4 pm
Learn about Engineering Design and Prototyping with 3D Printing! Our free program is your gateway to an exciting journey in S.T.E.M. Visit RCBC this summer to learn and meet students that share your same interests from all over Burlington County.
Whether you are a beginner or simply curious about emerging technologies, this experience will guide you through the fundamentals of 3D printing from concept to creation! Participants will learn the basics of 3D modeling and design, including how to conceptualize and build their own project using user-friendly software such as TinkerCAD. The event emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and innovation, offering a collaborative environment where you can experiment with ideas and bring them to life. Participants will also be introduced to the growing impact of additive manufacturing across industries such as healthcare, aerospace, automotive design, and consumer products. By the end of the session, you’ll not only have a deeper understanding of how 3D printing is shaping the future of design and manufacturing, but you’ll also take home a custom 3D-printed object that you designed yourself!

The program is free for selected students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Eligible students are rising high school freshmen and Burlington county residents, entering high school in Fall 2026.
