Make the most out of your summer months at Rowan College at Burlington County. RCBC offers summer courses to help you get ahead, as well as several fun classes and events for incoming students, middle school and high school students, and anyone who wants to explore their interests.

Summer courses

First session: May 15 (6 or 12 weeks), May 22 (10 weeks), June 23 (7 weeks)

Second session: July 6 (6 weeks)

You can still register for summer classes at RCBC! Choose from hundreds of courses across more than 80 degree and certificate programs. With flexible accelerated sessions available online, in-person, or hybrid, students can stay on track while enjoying the summer months. Visit rcbc.edu/summer to learn more.

 

Summer Prep Program

July 6 - August 16 | 6-week course

RCBC’s Summer Prep program helps graduating seniors get a head start before the fall semester begins with free college credits and personalized academic support. Students can earn credits valued at $1,255 that may be used at RCBC or transferred to another institution. The program also includes tailored math support from an embedded tutor and weekly college readiness workshops, helping students build confidence and begin their higher education journey on the right foot.

STEM Engineering Institute

July 30 | 9 am - 4 pm

Rising ninth graders can learn more about engineering design and prototyping with this free, full-day 3D printing institute. This summer, students can foray into the world of Science, Engineering, Technology, and Mathematics with this course that will take them through the fundamentals of 3D printing from concept to design, utilizing user-friendly software such as TinkerCAD.

A free breakfast snack and lunch are included, and participants can meet with career services advisors to plan for high school and even tour RCBC’s Mount Laurel campus.

Pre-College Learning Institute

Monday,  July 20 - Friday,  July 24 

First-year Education Opportunity Fund (EOF) students experience a fun, free, week-long program that helps them get a head start on college life through educational enrichment, leadership development, team building, and college preparation workshops. EOF scholars, staff, and other campus partners will be there to guide accepted students along the way to help them engage with the campus and their peers!
