Jarrett Kealey
Jarrett J. Kealey serves as the Dean of Advising & Career Development for Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC). His passion for education and the doors it opens stems directly from his lived experience as a first-generation college graduate. Mr. Kealey’s expertise spans the higher education spectrum, built upon years of administrative experience across 2 and 4-year institutions, having directly worked in or overseen eleven distinct functional areas, ensuring comprehensive student support from entry through employment.
A recognized leader in student success, Mr. Kealey has a proven track record of securing and managing federal grants to drive institutional innovation. His success includes overseeing the Department of Education's Center for Veterans Student Success grant and serving as Senior Personnel on multiple National Science Foundation (NSF) grants. His leadership extends to major national initiatives, including co-leading RCBC's effort as part of the Work-integrated Learning (WIL) Accelerator and serving on the team that secured a $2.6 million implementation grant from the Gates Foundation to build a national model for improving transfer student outcomes.
Mr. Kealey holds a Master of Education from Ohio University. He actively contributes to the field by sharing his advanced knowledge and insights through more than 20 presentations at state, regional, and national convenings. His presentations focus on advancing best practices in advising, driving institutional change, developing integrated academic support, and modeling successful transfer student initiatives. He champions higher education as a unique opportunity for exploration, growth, and the cultivation of purpose; this lifelong curiosity drives him to improve education for all while valuing every moment spent helping a student find the why behind their academic journey.
