The class will demonstrate how the review and analysis of the financial statements can provide you with the information needed to improve profitability and/or grow your business.

There will be a detailed discussion of revenues and expense items, forecasting and trend analysis.

Marketing Your Small Business

Marketing can feel overwhelming for small business owners. There are countless platforms, tools, and tactics competing for your attention. This interactive 90-minute workshop cuts through the noise and focuses on the fundamentals that actually help small businesses grow.

In this session, we’ll explore the core building blocks of effective marketing, from clarifying who your customer really is to choosing the right channels to reach them. Rather than diving into complex theory, this class focuses on practical, real-world strategies that owners can apply immediately.

Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to think about marketing, what activities are worth their time, and how to begin building a simple, sustainable marketing approach for their business.

This will be a highly conversational session with plenty of opportunities for questions, discussion, and real examples from participants’ businesses.

Topics we’ll cover include:

  • Understanding your ideal customer and what they actually care about
  • The difference between branding and marketing, and why both matter
  • Choosing the right marketing channels for a small business
  • Simple content and social media strategies that build visibility
  • Practical ways to stay consistent without burning out

This session is designed for early-stage entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to demystify marketing and walk away with clear, actionable ideas.
