  • Virtual walk-in hours are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 am - 4 pm and Wednesday with extended hours from 10 am - 6:30 pm.

  • Meet virtually with both Advising and Registration.

  • Wait times will vary daily. (Some lines may close early depending on volume).

  • No appointments needed.

Directions to get in line for a virtual session

Step 1: Prepare for your session by downloading the Cisco WebEx app for your mobile device. (Not required for calls on Mac or Windows-based systems)

Step 2: Join the advising queue

Step 3: Check your texts.

  • Once you've joined the queue, you will receive a text message letting you know that you are now in the advising queue. The text will also tell you how many students are in front of you in the line.

  • Keep an eye out for a second text letting you know when you have reached the front of the line. Your text will contain a link to your private meeting room with your advisor. Once you join, please wait a moment for your advisor to admit you into the room.

Important Note

Please note: A webcam and microphone are highly recommended when utilizing this service. If you prefer audio chat only, you may choose to disable video once in your session. RCBC utilizes Cisco WebEx to facilitate virtual sessions, so please download the WebEx Meetings app prior to joining the advising queue. You must have a microphone and be able to receive text messages to virtually meet with an advisor.
