Current and returning students can meet with an advisor to choose a major, plan out courses and discuss transfer options.

Registration

Get help with registering for courses, ordering transcripts, enrollment verifications or questions answered about graduation.

Wait times will vary daily. Some lines may close early, depending on volume.

Please note Student Accounts, Financial Aid and Admissions are not available in the virtual queue. To meet with Student Accounts, Financial Aid, and Admissions, please visit us during our In-Person Walk-In Services.

Important Note

To connect with an advisor virtually, you must have a microphone and be able to receive text messages. During your meeting, a webcam is highly recommended. If you prefer audio chat only, you may choose to disable video once in your session.

RCBC utilizes Cisco WebEx to facilitate virtual sessions. Please download the WebEx Meetings app prior to joining the advising queue.

If you do not have access to a microphone and cannot receive text messages, you can reach out to advising@rcbc.edu for additional information.

Step 1: Prepare for your session by downloading the Cisco WebEx app for your mobile device. (Not required for calls on Mac or Windows-based systems)

You have two ways to video chat with your advisor:

Step 2: Join the line.

Step 3: Check your texts.

  • Once you've joined the queue, you will receive a text message letting you know that you are now in the line. The text will also tell you how many students are in front of you in the line.

  • Keep an eye out for a second text letting you know when you have reached the front of the line. Your text will contain a link to your private meeting room with your advisor. Once you join, please wait a moment for your advisor to admit you into the room.
