Below is a sample schedule for students in RCBC's Liberal Arts and Sciences, Option: Business Administration (AS.BUS) or Liberal Arts and Science, option Accounting (AS.ACC) degree. AS.BUS or AS.ACC are the recommended associate degrees at RCBC

  • ACC 110 Principles of Accounting I (3CR)

Semester 2
(16 credits)

  • ENG 102 College Composition II (3CR)
  • Natural Science with Lab (see associate degree for options) (4CR)
  • ECO 204 Principles of Macroeconomics (3CR)
  • Diversity (recommend LIT 203, 206, 211, 216 or 217) (3CR)
  • ACC 111 Principles of Accounting II (3CR)

Accounting and Finance majors need a C or higher in ACC 110 and ACC 111

Semester 3
(16 credits)

  • Social Science (recommend ANT 102, GEO 102 or POL 103) (3CR)
  • Artistic Literacy: ART 101, MUS 101, or THR 101 (3CR)
  • MTH 143 Statistics I (4CR)
  • BUA 220 Principles of Marketing (3CR)

Need a C or higher in MTH 143, and MTH 142 or 118.

Semester 4
(12-13 credits)

  • Elective (CIS 161) for AS.BUS or ACC 116 for AS.ACC 
  • BUA 206 Business Law II (3CR)
  • MTH 118 Calculus or MTH 142 Calculus: Techniques/Appl (3-4CR)
  • Natural Science (see associate degree for options) (3CR)
  • Elective, if needed for 60 credits

If you complete all recommended and required courses, you will earn an AS.BUS or AS.ACC degree after semester 4.

Can take an elective in place of calculus, if completed in 1st semester

 

Rowan University Courses

Total credits: 60 (check out major options on Rowan University's website)

Courses are taken on the Glassboro Campus. Students need to apply to Rowan University in their last semester at RCBC. Students are automatically admitted if they graduate from RCBC with an AA or AS degree,  have 2.5 GPA (cumulative GPA from all colleges attended), are in progress to complete MTH 143 and MTH 142 or 118, and complete the traditional transfer application process. Please meet with your Rowan University academic advisor to plan your courses at Rowan University.
