2024 RCBC Graduate
After earning her associate degree at the 2024 spring commencement, Kate plans to experience the alluring waterfalls of upstate New York while attending Cornell University and studying mechanical engineering.
Kate took a different route out of high school, having worked as a supervisor at an engineering manufacturing company and as a radio repair technician for five years in the Marine Corps. Even after some time, pursuing higher education and starting at RCBC gave Kate a golden path to an Ivy League university.
“It’s never too late to create the life you want for yourself,” Kate said.
Outside of her studies, Kate plans to keep jamming out on the flute and piccolo, as she previously participated in the RCBC concert band.
