Become a Certified Administrative Medical Assistant

Prepare for an entry-level career in the medical field with our Administrative Medical Assistant course. Learn essential administrative and clinical skills to efficiently manage a medical office, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, handling financial procedures, and ensuring risk management compliance.

Upon completion, you will be eligible to take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

  • Included in course fee: Textbook and one certification exam attempt

  • Preparing and maintaining medical records
  • Performing basic secretarial skills and medical transcription
  • Handling telephone calls and writing correspondence
  • Serving as a liaison between the physician and other individuals
  • Managing practice finances
