Steps for Applying
Step 1: Complete the free application for the FAFSA (check out RCBC's How to Get Started Page for help).
Step 2: Be registered for a minimum of 6 credits.
Step 3: Maintain satisfactory academic progress. Please note, there is no GPA satisfactory academic progress requirement for first semester students.
Step 4: Create an account on CareerLink.
Step 5: Submit your resume on CareerLink and have the Career Services team approve your resume.

You will receive an email within two business days of signing up explaining how to complete the registration process. Afterward, you will be able to request appointments and access all features on Symplicity. Please allow two business days for a career advisor to review all documents. All documents must be uploaded in Microsoft Word.
Graduating students must stop working on the last day of the spring term.
Fall Semester - 25 hours per week
Spring Semester - 25 hours per week
Summer Semester - 25 hours per week
Please Note: Students that have taken 6 credits in the spring and are registered for 6 credits in fall are allowed to continue working throughout the summer break without taking summer classes.
- Hiring Managers review resumes, and reach out for an interview if interested.
- When a decision is made, Career Services is notified.
- Career Services will contact you by phone first, followed by an email.
- Your email will include your offer and final steps of the process.
- When you accept an offer, you will be responsible for reaching out to HR to complete new hire paperwork and a background check.
- When new hire paperwork is completed and your background check has cleared, the hiring manager will be contacted, and you can begin work. Please note that background checks can take 1-2 weeks.
- You are NOT permitted to work without clearance!
