Earn an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with the 3+1 Liberal Studies major.

Receive a well-rounded, liberal education allowing a focus on Philosophy and Law and Justice Studies.

If you've been accepted into the program as a junior, be sure to review the checklist and complete your contract.

This pathway leads to a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies: Humanities/Social Science from Rowan University.

3+1 students must earn at least one associate degree prior to transitioning into senior year. We recommend an associate degree in Liberal Arts/Science (AS.LSC). Below is a sample schedule. Please see your personalized plan in AVISO, if you have already signed up for 3+1.

Students must complete the Philosophy and Law and Justice concentrations.

CRJ 310 is in-person in the fall and online in the spring; must be signed up for 3+1 to register for this course.

CRJ 315 is online in the fall and in-person in the spring; must be signed up for 3+1 to register for this course.

PHI 240 is a spring only course.

Meet with Rowan University Advisor prior to senior year to confirm schedule.

Must complete an Experiential Learning requirement from a bank of course options that satisfy this requirement from various departments in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS). Credits vary from 0-6. Online options are available.

Must take a minimum of 30 credits with Rowan University.

 

Total credits required for BA is 120 between Rowan University credits and transfer credits.
