The training is designed to provide participants with practical skills that can be immediately applied in both professional and personal settings. Current training topics focus on:
- Password protection and password security best practices
- Recognizing and responding to social engineering threats and scams
Sessions are led by trained RCBC students, with faculty guidance and oversight, providing students with valuable real-world experience while delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences for participants.
Program details include:
- Training length: Approximately 60–90 minutes
- Delivery options: Available in person or remotely
- Cost: No cost to participating organizations
- Certificate: Participants receive an RCBC Certificate of Completion following the training
The program has already demonstrated strong outcomes. Following previous training sessions:
- 100% of participants reported feeling prepared to apply what they learned to better protect their personal information
- 100% reported feeling somewhat or very confident identifying social engineering threats
Cyber Barons provides organizations with an opportunity to strengthen staff cybersecurity awareness through accessible, practical, and engaging training while also supporting the development of the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
