This 80-hour program prepares individuals for entry-level positions in a 911 Dispatch Call Center.

This training program provides industry-recognized credentials from the National Emergency Communications Institute (NECI), Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) and the American Red Cross (CPR). ​

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A New Jersey resident.
  • High school diploma or HSE (High School Equivalency).
  • TABE test may be required. (A score of 9th grade minimum – may vary according to employer).
  • Satisfactory background check and drug screening for employment.
  • Attend the information session and employer recruitment session.

Some programs are grant-funded, if you meet the grant eligibility requirements there is no cost to you.
