RCBC Global Film Series: Crimson Sands
September 16, 2021 from 5 to 7 pm Webex
Virtual/Online

The next event in our continuing "Global Film Series" is a showing and discussion of “Crimson Sands,” a production from 2017 that illuminates gender inequality in law, politics, economics and domestic life in the Middle East.

This event is part of our "Global Film Series", a series that showcases recent award-winning films, produced in foreign languages from various locations across the world, and that focus on a social, political, and/or economic problem of national or international scope. This series is made possible through a U.S. Department of Education "Undergraduate International Studies and Foreign Languages Program" (UISFL) grant. Your organizer and host is Dr. Brandon M. Chapman (Instructor and Department Chair of Anthropology and Sociology, RCBC).
