A Discussion on Qualified Immunity
September 23, 2021 from 11 am to 12:20 pm Votta Hall Auditorium
Mount Laurel Campus

Qualified immunity is one of many newsworthy topics. It is extremely complex, and to some, not fully understood. This discussion will focus on the Ku Klux Klan Act from which it derives that created the foundation for this constitutional issue. Please join Political Science Assistant Professor Ken Mariano in welcoming Criminal Justice Instructor Dr. Amber Ciccanti for an exciting discussion on the topic of qualified immunity.

Dr. Ciccanti is currently a full-time faculty member of RCBC’s Criminal Justice Department and a retired police sergeant from the Willingboro Police Department. Dr. Ciccanti is a graduate of RCBC and additionally earned a master's and doctorate degree in the field of criminal justice.

This event is part of the RCBC "Constitution Month" celebration that is being held throughout the month of September. Please contact Political Science Assistant Professor Ken Mariano at kmariano@rcbc.edu for more information.
