Rowan College at Burlington County students have access to expanded student memberships and access to the Mount Laurel and Burlington-Riverfront YMCAs beginning this semester.
The new student membership policy grants access to the YMCA during all operating hours without limitations on your workout and gym times.
The expanded membership also includes access to the center pools and childcare services while you work out! As part of this membership enhancement, students will have a $20 per semester charge on their first visit to either YMCA location, which is a large discount from typical membership fees. The remainder of the membership costs will continue to be covered by a portion of your RCBC Student Activities Fee and Student Government Association. As a student you will also have access to a discounted monthly rate to take fitness classes. More details are available from the RCBC Office of Student Life or the YMCA branches.
Students can access specific details about the YMCA facilities, operating hours, childcare services, and more by visiting www.ymca-bc.org.
In order to access your membership, please visit the Mount Laurel or Burlington-Riverfront YMCA and bring your current student ID (with the Spring 2015 sticker), a copy of your semester schedule, and $20 to cover the semester fee. This membership is available to all currently enrolled students for the duration of the semester. Students will need to renew the membership and provide evidence of enrollment to utilize the services in future semesters.
Membership questions should be directed to the Fitness Center at (609) 894-9311 or (856) 222-9311, ext. 1435.
