Special Application

The Special Application is for prospective students who will be attending RCBC while they are under the age of 18 or registering for CAP courses at their high school.

Please Note: CAP students are required to meet with their high school guidance office to obtain the Special Application.

How to Apply

  1. Please print the application and complete all requested information.

  2. Signatures are required from:
    • Guidance Office
    • Parent/Guardians
    • Student
       
  3. If the high school student wishes to take any college level courses that have any pre-requisites, students must submit proof that the pre-requisites have been met.
     
  4. If a student wishes to take a college level English course or college level Math course they take the Entrance Exam (ACCUPLACER) for placement or they can be exempt in one of the following ways:
    • Students who took the SAT prior to March 2016: Those with scores of 540 or higher on SAT Critical Reading and 530 or higher on SAT Math section are not required to take the entrance exam.  
    • Students who took the SAT on or after March 2016 will have their scores converted using the SAT Score Converter.
    • Students with ACT scores of 23 or higher in Reading and 20 or higher in Math are not required to take the entrance exam.
    • Students who have taken college-level English and Math courses with a grade of a C or higher are not required to take the entrance exam.
       
  5. Attention CAP Students:  Please return your completed application to your high school CAP Coordinator in your high school guidance office.
     
  6. Attention BCIT/RCBC Equivalent Credit (High School Seniors): After program completion, do the following:
    Complete RCBC's Special Application for Selected Students (list all ECC eligible courses completed); submit with proof of satisfactory program completion and payment (payable to Rowan College at Burlington County) to earn RCBC credit. Submit all materials to:

  7. All other completed applications should be sent to:
