RCBC Students Can Win Cash Prizes in Business Plan Competition

Startup Stars

In an effort to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, RCBC’s Workforce Development Institute, with support from TD Bank, is hosting the third annual Startup Star competition. RCBC students and Burlington County high school students will be challenged to develop a business idea, create a plan, and then present their concepts at a finale on March 8 at the college’s Enterprise Center.

“The contest highlights the important work we are doing at RCBC’s Workforce Development Institute to provide seamless connections to important resources throughout the college and county to educate, encourage, and help students and community members reach their professional goals,” said RCBC Vice President of Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Anna Payanzo Cotton. “These budding business owners are the future. We want to help them realize their growth potential and eventually build their business right here in Burlington County.”

Interested students may compete as a team and must submit a business plan summary or business model canvas by Thursday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. Registration is required prior to submission. For more information about RCBC’s Startup Star contest, or to register, please visit rcbc.edu/startupstar.
