The first class as Rowan College at Burlington County has arrived
A lot has changed in the past six months: New President, Bold new partnership, New identity, New future in Mount Laurel, New management structure.
All of this was done to better serve students who resumed their studies this month at the new Rowan College at Burlington County. Inspired by the return of students, the Office of Student Activities jumped into gear welcoming students with a barbecue courtesy of the college's Culinary Arts program, bungee jump and inflatable bumper cars. More than 500 students attended the activities.
"Rowan College at Burlington County is reinventing the modern campus experience for our students, and one of our mottoes is
'Work. Play. Lead,'" RCBC President Paul Drayton said. "All three elements are essential to a successful student, and our Office of Student Activities is able to provide a well-rounded experience that rivals any that you will find on the campus of a four-year university."
Students who comprise the first class as Rowan College at Burlington County, have a new identity and a new future as the college focuses on improving its Mount Laurel campus and its new partnership with Rowan University that has created a path to a $30,000 bachelor's degree.
