Deborah Sponsors Flu Shots at BCC

Flu Shots

Nearly 200 students, faculty and staff received flu shots at Burlington County College (BCC) thanks to generous funding from Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Deborah Hospital Foundation and the BCC Foundation.

The three sessions were held in November and December at the Mount Laurel and Pemberton campuses and Willingboro Center.

To promote preventative healthcare, Deborah also agreed to donate an iPad, which will be raffled to a student who received a vaccine at BCC.

“It’s great to partner with Burlington County College on this important health initiative,” said Deborah President and CEO Joseph Chirichella. “Working together we can both play a role in the region’s health and well-being.”

“We are very grateful for Deborah’s generous effort, and the BCC Foundation’s support, to help keep the Burlington County College community healthy during the cold and flu season,” BCC Interim President Dr. David Spang said.
