Take Back the Night

Tuesday, April 24, 2018 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Mount Laurel Campus, Student Success Center

Take Back the Night is about the power of speaking out. Rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse and domestic violence are often labeled "crimes of silence" because of low reporting rates and social discomfort with their public discussion. By shattering the silence on sexual violence, Take Back the Night events help survivors know that they are not alone, and that these crimes will not be tolerated or left to go silently in the night.

The evening's program includes:

  • resources
  • student poetry
  • a survivor story
  • a march around campus
