Non-native speaker Claudia Saldivar-Cruz earns RCBC Academic Award in English

For some, creativity is an outlet. For Claudia Saldivar-Cruz, it’s a lifestyle. She is always working on a project, whether it be making jewelry, cake decorating, making pinatas, doodling intricate mandalas and zen art or creating papier mache sculptures. She has also recently taken up painting.

From January through May 2018, she never got home between Wednesday nights and late Friday afternoons, sleeping a few hours in her car; washing up and changing clothes where she could; eating a Thursday night dinner dropped off by her significant other, Scott, of maybe pork chops, mashed potatoes and green beans.

RCBC student earns three college degrees before graduating high school

Lauren Turse began her education at Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) when she was 14 years old. Now at 18, she will be graduating this spring with three degrees, English, Biology and Psychology.

Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) will honor more than 1,300 graduates at its 49th Annual Commencement ceremonies, which continues the college’s yearlong celebration of its 50th year.

RCBC student makes her American Dream a reality

Sarika Blackman, originally from Guyana, had completed the requirements to become a United States citizen shortly before her Green Card was set to expire. By chance, she saw that Rowan College at Burlington County was hosting a naturalization ceremony and successfully requested that Immigration Services include her so she could take the oath on the campus that has been so important to her.

RCBC Hosts Annual Fashion Show

Get ready to hit the runway from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, as Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) fashion design students showcase their talent and unique creations in the 2019 Fashion Show. The show will be held at the Student Success Center on RCBC’s Mount Laurel Campus.
