National and statewide nursing organizations recognize RCBC students and administrators

The National League for Nursing (NLN) and the New Jersey League for Nursing (NJLN), organizations that promote excellence in nursing education, recognized Rowan College at Burlington County students with scholarships and administrators with awards and appointments.

With special guests the Phillie Phanatic and a town crier, Rowan College at Burlington County welcomed home its first physical mascot, Barry the Baron.

Thirty years after students selected the Baron as the college’s mascot – a knightly-themed pun off the nearby N.J. Pine Barrens – the college unveiled its first physical mascot.

Rowan College at Burlington County students will display their artwork and take to the stage for theatrical and musical performances for the 2018 Arts Showcase “Perspectives” on Friday, Nov. 16 at the Mount Laurel Campus. The event features all of the arts programs at the college and is free and open to the community.

RCBC to answer “Who’s Barry” on Nov. 13

After weeks of suspense, Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) will answer a question that has been popping up all over campus and social media, “Who’s Barry?”

The college will welcome Barry to the campus community with a celebration at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 13 in the Student Success Center.

The arrival of fall has brought back fond memories of cooking with three of my favorite women, my great grandmother, my grandmother and my mother. They have instilled three generations of culinary wisdom and as a tribute to them; I would like to share their dishes with you. The Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) Board of Trustees welcomed its newest member, Dr. James D. Kerfoot, who brings a wealth of experience as a superintendent or principal of several schools in Burlington County and southern New Jersey.
