Rowan College at Burlington County Foundation and TD Bank host student Startup Stars competition for aspiring entrepreneurs

The Rowan College at Burlington County Foundation is excited to announce its 2017 TD Bank Startup Stars business plan competition final judging and celebration will take place on Thursday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. at RCBC’s Enterprise Center on the Mount Laurel Campus.

RCBC's 3+1 students are the first in the region

Last week, Rowan College at Burlington County President Paul Drayton and the Liberal Arts, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) deans, met with students who are a part of the region’s first-ever courses in the innovative 3+1 program, named one of Money Magazine's top five college affordability initiatives in the nation.

National energy industry association announces academic partnership with new Rowan venture

The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE), an 1,800 member national energy association, announced that a new venture between Rowan University and Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) will serve as its academic partner.

Celebrate Godspell (2012) at Rowan College at Burlington County

According to Rowan College at Burlington County Theatre Director Patricia Cohill, “Godspell is a celebration.”

The greater community will have a chance to celebrate with RCBC’s Lamplight Players, a club open to students of all majors, when the troupe performs the 2012 revival of the 1971 original musical.

Men’s basketball players pick up post-season awards

Two players from Rowan College at Burlington County men’s basketball team, Region XIX Division II Runners-Up, earned post-season recognitions.

Guard Damian Archer, of Baltimore, Md., earned First Team honors for both the Region XIX Division II Men’s Basketball All-Region and Garden State Athletic Conference Division II Men’s Basketball All-GSAC Team.

With their 98-79 win over Delaware Technical Community College on Saturday, the Rowan College at Burlington County men’s basketball team will advance to the Region XIX Division II semi-finals.

Rowan College at Burlington County men’s basketball hosts playoffs as No. 2 seed

Rowan College at Burlington County men’s basketball heads into Region XIX Division II playoffs as No. 2 seed this weekend. The Barons will host No. 7 seed, Delaware Technical Community College, on Saturday, March 4 at 1 p.m. in the Pemberton Campus gym.

The Barons, with a 14-9 record, are looking to continue their six-game winning streak far into the playoffs.
